Its aim is to help orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) in Ghana to grow up in healthy, nurturing environments that provide quality care, protection, education, and support. We do this by assisting the families, communities, organizations and departments charged with their care. You may be surprised to find out that just $1.50 a day can mean the difference between life and death for a malnourished, abandoned child in Ghana. With just $1.50 a day you can help OA give a malnourished child the chance to live. Ensuring a malnourished child a balanced diet, increased protein intake, vitamin supplements, access to clean drinking water and establishing a systematic nutritional assessment costs OA just $45 a month.
